Once for All

Once for  ALL!

Word of the Week
By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10v10.

Imagine life during Pharaoh and the Israelites pending exodus from Egypt.  Seeing all the plagues that came upon Pharaoh and his people was enough to give you a good introduction of the Great God.  Plagues came and went.  But the most painful of them all was the losing of the first-born child in all Egypt.  How did the others survive? Because God said so.  He said to put the blood of the lamb over their doorposts and lintels, so when the destroyer comes, he will not see you and the Lord will Passover.  God favored them from this great plague after obedience.  I am reminded this Passover, at that time, imagine being in your house and hearing screams and cries of desperation across the whole nation as the destroyer entered their houses.  Either of the two things was happening inside the closed doors of the Israelites, holy great fear of the Lord and a great worship!  Because of the Blood you knew you were safe.  At that point everyone knew He was God.  Even Pharaoh came to acknowledge God and asked Moses to depart and bless him too.  Now today, this week of Passover, in the midst of the world chaos, midst of screams and issues, you can enter the safe zone of the Lord and begin to worship Him.  The presence of the destroyer at your doorstep should not stop you from worship.    The presence of your enemy does not mean the absence of your King.  Worship Him despite what you see.  Jesus paid the ultimate price.  He became the sacrificial Lamb and we apply the blood of Jesus on the doorposts of our lives.  Christ’s blood was shed for you and me once and for all!!  Worship Him, you are His and we belong to Him, in the presence of the destroyer, we are still His and kept by the Lord.

The presence of the enemy does not mean the absence of your King…It means your King in the presence of your enemy!

That’s a lie

That’s a lie

Word of the Week
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, yea hath God said ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? God said ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest you die…and the serpent said unto the woman, you shall not surely die: Genesis 1 v 1-4 extracts.

The bible says “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world.” 1 John 2v16. Not everything that is good is meant for you and neither is it always good for you. If God has said it but it still looks good to the eye, its still bad for you because He said its bad for you. If God forbade it then it is not to be tested just to see what will happen. Beware that the enemy will also make “it” look right just to distort the truth. The more you ponder on asking yourself if it is TRUE what God has said, the more likely your questioning on what you have always known as Truth, will leave you naked and running away from His presence. Question to understand and not question to prove God’s truth wrong. For God’s Word is always truth. When Eve was enticed three ways by the serpent, shame took over her and her husband and the serpent was no where to be seen until God summoned him. Suddenly if it looks good and pleasant to the eye, looks good enough to eat and the reasoning being self centered and looking for wisdom outside of God’s truth –  careful because it might kill you. Anything outside of God’s truth, does not give you life.  Run with your life, saturate yourself with the Word of God. Remember the devil is a liar, has always been and will always be. God’s Word is truth because He is Truth!
